My client is a leading banking group with offices throughout the globe. A vacancy has arisen in their City of London offices for a Regulatory Oversight Manager. Providing assurance to senior management that the groups risk profile is being managed appropriately key responsibilities and duties of the role are as follows;

*Support the identification and analysis of changes to the group's regulatory risk profile, proposing and undertaking appropriate measures to ensure changes are properly managed.
*Carry out detailed analysis of change to the groups residual regulatory risk profile identifying themes in risk exposure.
*Assist with the delivery of risk based oversight and assurance activities including targeted reviews.
*Identify the regulatory impact of business issues, operational failures and regulatory breaches, reporting findings to executive management and regional regulatory risk functions as appropriate.
*Support senior team members in ensuring that the risk framework remains appropriate and in line with the group's regulators, including the FSA.
*Promote best practice in regulatory risk and reporting across the business.
*Support the delivery of allocated regulatory risk projects and initiatives as directed by senior management.

The role requires significant regulatory risk experience and as such, demands high-quality compliance professionals. You, as a successful compliance professional, will demonstrate a good proven track record of delivery (e.g. contribution to regulatory risk management solution delivery to business functions). You will also show a broad knowledge of risk management and control appropriate to a financial services environment and specific knowledge in relevant key areas (e.g. investments or financial markets).
