Product Manager - City - £35ph

Established over 40 years ago and with $200 billion under management, our award winning client is a major global force within the investment management industry. For the right individual, the opportunity now exists to join their Product Management team.

Working in a close knit, team based environment the team has a number of franchises representing different asset classes including Fixed Income, UK Equity and European Equity. The department supports all written and performance commentary and sales presentations for each discipline to enable the distribution channels to support their clients and prospects.

The specific daily duties within the role include:

- Representing the Portfolio Managers with clients, prospects and media
- Provide clients and consultants with with updates on investment philosophy and insight on the
investment process, performance and portfolio positioning
- Constantly monitor the stock activity in each discipline
- Develop and maintain strong relationship with Portfolio Managers and distribution channels
- Monitoring market trends and competitor analysis on an ongoing basis
- Ensure that written output such as RFP/ RFI databases and sales presentations for each
allocated discipline are maintained and reviewed at least quarterly

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

- Strong knowledge of Fixed Income and Equities gained within a similar investment
management
- Proactive/ can do attitude
- CFA qualified
- Understanding if how commercial decisions are arrived on products
- Analytical ability

It is imperative that you have the ability to communicate successfully at all levels, can work to deadlines in a pressurised environment
