An exciting opportunity has become available with one of our clients who are a premier fund management firm for a Business Performance Consultant. The team is responsible for the financial planning and analysis of the companies Investments. This involves the annual business planning process, including the effective communication of our strategic objectives throughout the business; the preparation of quarterly financial forecasts; monthly reporting of key drivers of the business and progress against these targets; and ongoing business partnering to provide high quality performance analysis to a wide range of business managers, including their Executive Directors.

Role

To contribute to the development of the team as a business partner, and build & manage effective relationships across the organisation.
To work with the business to efficiently build robust and stretching annual plans and quarterly forecasts.
To develop and deliver high quality monthly reporting of financials and KPIs.
To perform ad hoc investigatory analysis and project work as required.
To maximise synergies across the Business Performance team by working effectively with colleagues and building strong understanding of the business as a whole.

Requirements

Knowledge in MI methodologies, technology and solutions
Knowledge of core management accounting processes
Strong Excel skills are critical for success in this role.
Qualified accountant with strong academic track record plus relevant post qualification experience
Financial services experience is a prerequisite as is experience of financial modelling
Experience of business partnering in large organisation is preferable
