A Treasury Operations Assistant is required for a leading investment firm whose business services specialise in finance, trade, logistics, investment management, co-ordination, planning and more.


This is an assistant position in a small yet dynamic team in London. The treasury operations assistant will be responsible for the following:

- General ledger entries including payments, receipts, deposit and loan entries/rollovers/maturities, discounts, account transfers.

- Assisting in investigation and reconciliation of company ledgers against bank statements.

- Inputting Telex, CHAPS, BACS and new template instructions into electronic bank systems to be released by manager before deadline

- Collating data into spreadsheets

- Trade support - BACS, payment and trade transaction inquiries etc. among other responsibilities.


A high standard of accuracy and attention to detail is required for this position. Predominantly this role is processing entries whilst providing support to treasury operations manager to achieve daily deadlines with an emphasis on accuracy, consistency and methods. Candidate must be comfortable dealing on telephone and email with banks. The ideal candidate will be someone who learns quickly and enjoys implementing improvements and also contributes new ideas.


There will be much personal training invested in this position. Personality and competence is more valuable than qualifications.
