A Senior Settlements Clerk is required for a market-leading major participant in the UK treasury market. There is a significant trading activity that runs alongside a large repo & securities lending business.


The role will be based in Paris supporting traders located in London.


The senior settlements clerk will primarily by responsible for instruction monitoring: for each trade input by the front office it is the responsibility of the settlement analyst to ensure the relevant instruction has been properly transmitted to crest. For the others manual input is required on a continuous flow basis.


The senior settlements clerk will also follow up on pre settlement functions and other collateral needs for securities lending.


The applicant should have solid relevant UK Gilts settlement experience & be used to working in a busy environment. The candidate should have good crest cap facilities knowledge, and good client communication skills are essential. French language skills are not essential for this role, but preferred.
