A rare and prestigious opportunity for a Regulatory Reporting Analyst has arisen in this top tier investment bank. With a reputation for excellence in advice and execution on a global scale, our client is a leading global investment bank with a strong and profitable private clients franchise. The role is within the UK Banking Group Team, of Finance Legal Entity Controlling (FLEC). FLEC is responsible for the management, statutory and regulatory reporting of the UK subsidiaries and the London Branch of the German parent.

The key responsibilities for the Regulatory Reporting Analyst include:
-Oversee the daily capital adequacy, large exposure and liquidity calculations for the FSA
regulated UK banking group; including implementing improvements and near full automation.
-Provide cover for the financial accounting of the UK banking group.
-Preparation of quarterly Integrated Regulatory Reporting (IRR) submissions for the UK banking
group, on a consolidated and un-consolidated basis, including instigating reconciliations to the
source systems.
-Review and analysis of new trades or products for their impact on the capital adequacy and l
liquidity calculations.
-Liaise with areas outside of FLEC to co-ordinate complete compliance with the FSA rules (IT,
BAC, Treasury, Legal, Front Office etc).

Our client is seeking a newly qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or CIMA) with prior experience of the financial services industry through a line role, audit or advisory.
