The role

An exciting role for a Specialist Business Controls Consultant has arisen within this leading Brokerage Company. Our client is the leading broker of exchange-listed futures and options in the world. The Internal Audit Department is responsible for the delivery of a range of assurance and internal management consulting services

The candidate

The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of risk based audits and proactive consulting services across the financial control and treasury departments, who deal with a large volume and variety of derivative products. This requires the proactive identification and evaluation of changes impacting the assigned areas risk and control profile so as to ensure the implemented control environment is fit for purpose. A critical component of the job is communication of audit/consulting results to senior management.

Ideally, you will be a qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) or equivalent with Internal audit or operational risk experience in a broker/dealer/investment banking environment, with exposure to derivatives products, and possess excellent communication skills (verbal and written), be a self motivated, analytical thinker with strong attention to detail.
