Assistant accountant - London, City - Insurance
Global Insurance Company has an opportunity for an Assistant Accountant based in the city for a part qualified accountant.
The main purpose of the role is to assist in financial management, planning and forecasting within the business and to assist the business in financial decision making and reporting.
Key responsibilities will include;
-Assisting with management accounts, variance analysis and prepayments
-Develop and improve the existing management information and financial reporting
-Be a key liaison between the business and finance
-Critical analysis of key performance indicators across the business
Ideal candidate will be a part qualified, CIMA, ACCA or ACA or an individual at early stages of their qualifications who is looking for a commercial role as an Assistant Accountant. Experience will be preferred from the Insurance Industry, but will also consider part qualified accountants from financial services only.
