This renowned international investment bank with culture centered on transparency, respect and providing a first class client service is looking for an enthusiastic VDU clerk to work in the VDU Depository & Clearing Centre.

DCC supports the London Money Market and is a provider of IPA, Clearing, Settlement and Custody services for Certificates of Deposit. You will become a member of a 3 person team responsible for input and verification of Trades, Payments and other cash and custody entries into FIRST and Crest.

Main Responsibilities:

*Inputs customer trade instructions to FIRST ensuring a high degree of speed and accuracy
*Accept maturing instruments issued by DCC as Issuing and Paying Agent in Crest.
*Releases trade instructions on FIRST to generate payments, accounting entries and advices
*Inputs funds transfer receipt and payment entries on FIRST ensuring a high degree of speed and accuracy
*Performs custody update functions on FIRST ensuring a high degree of speed and accuracy
*Inputs SWIFTs and double entries to FIRST ensuring a high degree of speed and accuracy
*Inputs data for delivery of instruments from the DCC Crest account ensuring a high degree of speed and accuracy. Is also responsible for authorising other operators' input
*Verifies funds transfer receipt and payment entries on FIRST ensuring a high degree of speed and accuracy, Assists in clerical duties such as vault checks as and when required.


You will ideally have Corporate Trust, Custody and Crest experience coupled with the ability to prioritise heavy workloads to ensure optimum service with limited resources.
