• Syndicate Accountant, City - 60k

• City of London £50,000 - £60,000 p/a Permanent

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Syndicate Accountant to join one of the most successful Lloyds insurance Syndicates. This opportunity would be working with a subsidiary of the Syndicate making the role quite hands on and varied.
Some of the duties will include streamlining the financial processes, reconciliations of Syndicate cashbooks/ledgers, production of ledger reports, prepare/review of bank statements, preparing US/Canadian returns, Assisting in Syndicate Accountant figures, production of Syndicate reports/accounts, liaising with auditors, handling projects and liaising with clients.

This position requires someone from an Insurance Syndicate background with an in depth knowledge of US GAAP, Excel, Word and Great Plains (ideally). someone with good organisational and communicational would be highly beneficial for the role as well as the ability to work towards tight deadlines on a regular basis

is is essential that the relevant candidate be qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent) with a recent working background/knowledge of Lloyds Syndicate Accounting
