This excellent opportunity for a Legal Entity Controller; Regulated Entities has arisen within a highly respected Top Tier firm. Our client is a leading global financial services firm with operations in more than 50 countries. The firm is a leader in investment banking, financial services for consumers, small business and commercial banking, financial transaction processing, asset and wealth management, and private equity.

The key responsibilities for the Legal Entity Controller; Regulated Entities include:
-Responsible for ensuring the integrity of the financial results of the legal entities in their charge
and ensuring business booking in the legal entities complies with the applicable regulatory
requirements.
-Control of the month-end close and submission to HO for consolidation, liaising with business
finance to resolve reporting issues.
-Liaison with US regulators and the external audit team for financial reporting issues.
-Monitors capital and liaises with the FSA Regulatory Reporting Group
-Provide appropriate reporting to the board under Companies Act 1985 and 2006.
-Review relative profitability by business within the legal entity to understand the drivers of the
legal entity results.

The successful candidate should be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CPA) with experience in both an audit role in a practice and a line financial reporting role in a large corporate group. You should also have experience in the production of financial statements in accordance with the UK / US GAAP.
