A technical specialist analyst/associate is required for the interest rate derivatives middle office team of an eminent and highly esteeming international investment banking, securities and investment management firm that provides a wide range of services to a substantial and diversified client base.


The middle office provides direct trading floor support to traders and salespeople working on the various interest rate derivative desks in London. Specifically these desks cover vanilla interest rates, exotic interest rates, inflation and property derivative trading.


Your responsibilities will focus on ensuring trades are booked correctly and in a timely manner by the front office. You will monitor the Novations inbox and liaise with trading to agree and book Novations. You will also be producing transparent qualitative and quantitative information for senior management


Our client has a preference for candidates with good numerical/finance related qualifications, but this is not essential if there is valid work experience evidenced. Excellent technical understanding of derivative products is required. The candidate must have excellent client relationship skills as the role involves speaking to key clients of the firm.
