Exciting role suited to an expert within the Leadership Change space. To be considered you must be an expert rather than a Learning and Development professional who has touched on management development. Leadership programmes are very important within the business and viewed to be intrinsic to success of the internal talent pool.
This management role will provide a depth of knowledge around leadership development issues and themes. The role holder will provide programme support to the Head of Leadership Change Delivery in the diagnosis, design, delivery, implementation & evaluation of policies, products and initiatives aimed at enhancing the managerial and leadership capabilities of the management population of the Group. This role also ensures the appropriate plans are in place to enable delivery of a Group Leadership Change Programme across the Group.
Role:
- Manage, lead and deliver projects across the Leadership and Talent Development spectrum - but predominantly leadership development - including the delivery of the change agenda for Leadership Development through effective engagement with senior stakeholders and appropriate programme governance and structures
- Strategically influence the implementation of the Group Leadership Change Programme agenda through effective partnership with divisional Learning and Training resources and by providing deep technical expertise across a range of leadership development disciplines.
- Ensure appropriate balance of Group/local governance is in place to drive best value for the group across all core activities
- Engage Leadership Development resource across the group to the programme priorities
- Leverage a consistent pan-group operating model in terms of Leadership Development solutions and approaches to include all methods of delivery
- Ensure aims of programmes continue to be aligned to evolving business needs
- Manage resource and conflicts between projects and agree appropriate resolution
- Quality assurance of programme deliverables and governance
- Effective participation in the various governance and delivery boards
- Enable effective and rapid implementation of key projects as appropriate
- Monitor progress against strategy, plan, benefit delivery and budget
Person:
- Breadth of technical knowledge, ideally (but not essentially) to include areas of leadership development, performance management and talent development
- Previous HR/business change leadership experience
- Programme and Project management experience
