Overall Purpose of the Role:
*To help lead and manage a Team of Senior Administrators and Administrators within the Business Support Team who aim is to run the scheme events on a portfolio of complex Corporate Pension Schemes run on a variety of Computer Systems. In addition the team looks to implement new process and procedures that will improve the efficiency of the Administration Teams.

Qualifications and Experience:-

Essential:
*5 GCSE's - grade C and above, including English and Maths
*Extensive pensions related experience.
*Excellent knowledge of Office Packages

Desired:
*Working towards DPC, G60, PMI, ACII
*Experience of working in the Customer Service Environment
*Experience of Team working and experience of results orientation
*Knowledge of VBA

Main Responsibilities and Duties:
*Provide a service to clients & advisors including Scheme Renewals, Pension Increases, Valuation Data, Ad hoc Reports and General Administration on a complex portfolio of schemes and System Platforms.
*Generate income in accordance with agreed terms using practice engine/core appropriately.
*Uses computer systems and procedures to process work to defined standards.
*Plans work for specific allocated projects to meet service definition standards but also to meet timescales and expectations as laid out by Manager.
*Use legislative and technical knowledge to process work and develop ability to recognise requirements for new procedures.
*Meet clients and advisers to discuss all relevant areas of administration.
*Attend and participate in meetings with Clients, Team Members and Managers
*Check and Authorise work.
*The ability to deal with difficult case work and a portfolio of key clients.
*Raise, Acknowledge and Investigate complaints and participate in general problem solving.
*To understand technical queries from others on the team and internal or external clients.
*To make positive contribution to the Team.
*The ability to provide solutions to process improvements or problems that have been identified both internally and externally.
