Corporate Actions Analyst

This pre-eminent financial advisor to companies, governments and investors from around the world is seeking an experienced Corporate Actions Analyst.

As one of the world's leading wealth management, capital markets and advisory companies, with offices in 40 countries and territories you will become part of the corporate actions team. The Corporate Actions Department is responsible for event types relating to equity and fixed income products, for the UK, European and Emerging Markets. They manage a variety of clients such as Proprietary Trading, Prime Brokerage, Stock Loan, Yield Enhancement, GPC (Global Private Clients) and external counter parties.

The department is responsible for each event throughout its life cycle, including the notification, reconciliation, response tracking, posting entries to books & records, claims processing and risk management.

*Collate and interpret information on corporate action events from our agent banks and various feeds.
*Understand and prepare cross system reconciliation's on complex positions.
*Notify clients of all event types including election issues and diarise with accuracy.
*Collate elections received from clients.
*Instruct agents / counterparts on election issues.
*Arrange funding for subscription events.
*System input to transform positions / trades and to loan entitlements.
*Monitor incoming queries to ensure they are answered accurately and on a timely basis.

You will have excellent corporate actions knowledge with a detailed level of understanding of Voluntary and Mandatory Corporate Actions. You will have the ability to communicate and collaborate with others to accomplish goals, including Prime Brokerage, internal support groups and technology as well as agent banks and external vendors.
