Private Banking Assistant - London - £14 - £16 per hour

A Private Banking Assistant is required by a very successful and growing Private Bank.
They provide private banking and trustee services to high net worth individuals and their families through 82 locations in the Europe, Americas, the Asia-Pacific region and the Middle East.
As a Private Banking Assistant your role will be to Support Relationship Manager/Private Banking Team Colleagues by:

- Maintaining the existing client portfolio by delivering standards of service consistent with a world class private bank
- Taking responsibility for the day-to-day administrative duties for the relationship teams and supporting the activity of the team
- Deal with client enquiries regarding the operating of their accounts and any other services provided by the Bank
- Manage account maintenance procedures'; including the opening and closing of relationships and accounts using the bank's various systems
- Effect all payment requests within given time scales
- Act as first point of contact for queries regarding investment proposals and credit cards.
- Identify opportunities for introductions to other parts of the business and the Group
- Produce clear and concise call reports
- Support colleagues in the preparation of lending applications as appropriate
- Support colleagues in the post sanction facility documentation preparation process as appropriate
- Assist in the smooth transfer of new business, focusing specifically on associated administrative issues
- Maintain excellent working relationships with Private Banking colleagues including Operations, Treasury and Compliance
- Undertake project work as identified
- Maintain a strong knowledge and understanding of the team's client base and products offered.
Develop and maintain a strong working knowledge of the Group and GPB systems and procedures.

- Administrative efficiency and excellent time management
- IT Skills - knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
- Ability to act as first point of contacts to clients and manage client contact for the team
