Strategic HR Policy and Project Consultant - City
Global Bank
£50-65K plus benefits plus bonus

The role holder will be responsible for leading and managing projects across a range of Strategic Workstreams to ensure that the Bank attracts, retain and engages the best people and delivers value to customers, employees and shareholders.

Key projects will focus on Policy and Proposition, Employee Relations, Employee Engagement, Business Change, Health, Safety and Wellbeing and Employment Law.

Role:

- Managing a range of projects across Strategic Workstreams
- Contributing to the delivery of projects across the Group
- Delivery of project objectives that meet and exceed business needs
- Supporting policy governance framework including ownership of Group Policies
- Effectively engaging and managing stakeholders
- Enhancing working relationships within the team and across the Group
- Creating an environment of continuous improvement, including the sharing of knowledge and upskilling of colleagues
- Pro-actively using HR knowledge, networks and market information to create strategic direction
- Utilising project management tools from the Project Management Framework, including Project Management Application

Person:

- Experience of HR, either in a Business Partner or Specialist role
- Experience of managing a range of projects across a number of diverse subject areas
- Experience in specialist areas outlined in the role purpose eg Policy Design and implementation
- Experience of project management tools and their application
- Previous experience working in a global organisation
- Ability to work in a matrix consultancy practice delivering across a wide range of strategic workstreams
- Strong commercial acumen
- A proactive and self motivated approach
- Ability to work autonomously
- Ability to design and implement "fit for purpose" solutions
