This renowned international top tier investment bank is looking for an articulate Business Relationship Manager for Derivatives . With over 300,000 employees in 83 countries and territories this investment bank is one of the largest financial services organisations in the world, and one of the few banks with a truly global presence.
The main propose of this role as a Business relationship manager is to become a integral part of a global core team to represent EDM Data operations as a business relationship function. To engage with and understand the business requirements by asset class in order to provide an effect data service.
Responsibilities to include:-
*To be the expert in an asset class understanding the markets, data, trade lifecycle, and systems used, in order to converse knowledgeably with the business areas.
*Proactively manage the relationship with key internal stakeholders (Front Office, Operations, Finance, Market & Credit Risk, etc.) to understand and meet their EDM data requirements.
*Participate in the business forums (for e.g. Control Committees, NPDD (New Process Due Diligence)) representing EDM. Understand the direction and strategy of the asset class and consider the impact of change on Data Operations. Ensure that future business needs are reviewed and discussed so that new EDM projects can be initiated as required.
*Ensure that Data Operations provides an effective service to customers, defining SLAs for service delivery and subsequently ensuring that SLAs are met and reviewed frequently.
*Work with the Data Operations teams to identify current problem areas that may prevent execution, reporting or settlement of trades. Design solutions to deliver increased efficiency (procedural, system enhancements, data cleansing) so that the team can manage data on a proactive basis.
*Undertake task and process analysis to assist the migration of Data Operations from the current to the target operating state. Work with Data Operations to define SLAs and Operating Models.
*Promote the EDM GRDS IT strategy and encourage business units to integrate to the architecture to receive good quality data and eliminate manual processes. Define Data Operations' requirements for the EDM Transformation Programme to deliver the proposed GRDS IT strategy.
*Understand, follow and demonstrate compliance with all internal and external rules, regulations and procedures that apply to the conduct of the business in which you are involved, specifically internal controls and any Compliance policy including, inter alia, the Group Compliance policy
The ideal person must have a proven track record in a previous role as a Business relationship manager. You posses a strong working knowledge of Derivative products as well as the trade lifecycle of all the relevant products. You should be someone who is ambitious with a strong market awareness.
