A specialist is required for trade investigations within a reputable international asset management company with globe-spanning portfolio managers and analysts covering the world's investment markets.


Based in London, the incumbent will report to the team leader of trade investigations and will be responsible for the investigation and resolution of trade related reconciliation breaks.


A key element of the role will be root cause analysis combined with formulation and implementation of solutions to prevent recurrence. The successful candidate will be a trade processing and foreign exchange expert with experience gained within an investment management environment.


Key responsibilities:

- Investigation and resolution of trade related reconciliation breaks

- Root cause analysis

- Formulation and implementation of solutions

- Collation of statistics and management reporting

- Identify opportunities to increase team efficiency.


Reconciliation experience (both stock and cash) is extremely advantageous for this role. The candidate will need previous settlement, trade processing or fund accounting experience, as well as an understanding of settlements in equities, fixed income, FX and unit trusts.
