A Qualified Accountant is required for our client who is one of the UKs leading Financial Services firms. The Senior Auditor would lead and undertake audits to assess business processes and operational controls and contribute to the effective delivery of the audit plan.

Role

Participates in and regularly leads audit teams on a range of business audits, providing direction, management and coaching.
Plan and lead the execution of audit work through the analysis and identification of business objectives and risks.
Ensure appropriate in-depth testing of business controls is undertaken to identify and assess risk to the achievement of business objectives.
Responsible for production of quality audit files, reports and management information compliant to departmental timescales and standards, including review of auditors work
Develops strong working business relationships to enhance knowledge of business area and to influence the implementation of audit findings and recommendations

Requirements

Qualified accountant
Previous Internal Audit experience
Financial Services experience an advantage
Understanding of risk and control measures and relevant risk control frameworks
