• Financial/Regulatory Accountant - London

• West End £30,000 - £40,000 p/a Permanent

cover all aspects of regulatory reporting, including daily, monthly and quarterly reporting. The role will have considerable interaction with Treasury, IT, compliance and Finance.

Our client has been established in London for over 100 years and offer a comprehensive range of commercial, general & private banking services. The Bank operates in the West End of London and has branches across the UK.

The key responsibilities for the Financial/Regulatory Accountant include:
-Production of all regulatory reports, including statistical reporting, capital adequacy and liquidity
-Migration of processes to deliver revised reporting requirements under Basle 2.
-Increased automation of reporting to streamline processes.
-Support to head of regulatory reporting on interpretation and application of regulatory
framework
-Be a key point contact for front office and Compliance on regulatory treatment of new
products/deals and ensure issues/concerns are escalated as appropriate.
-Assist with production of head office and statutory reporting

The successful candidate should a part qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) with relevant regulatory reporting experience (FSA and Bank of England returns), a pro-active approach to their work and a drive to take on and develop new responsibilities.
