• Junior Market Risk Analyst - London - Night Shift

• City of London £15.00 - £20.00 p/hr Temporary

A leading broker of exchange-listed futures and options requires a Market Risk Analyst to work on a rotational night shift.

With a strong brand name in the market place and a worldwide client base of more than 130,000 active accounts ranging from financial institutions, industrial groups, hedge funds and other asset managers to professional traders and private/retail clients, our client offers a progressive and challenging work environment.

Their services include execution and clearing services for exchange-traded and over-the-counter derivative products as well as for non-derivative foreign exchange products and securities in the cash market.

The role of a Market Risk Analyst will focus on the provision and analysis of complex market risk data using internal systems and Excel.

The ideal candidate for the market risk team will have:

-Relevant prior experience from a broker/dealer, hedge fund or exchange environment
-Experience of Equities/Equity Derivative instruments
-Market analysis tool experience and strong Excel skills
-Demonstrable ability to scope new systems and stress related testing
-Excellent numerical and communication skills
-The desire to learn new skills and concepts within the wider risk environment
-The ability to work on a nightshift pattern from 17.00 - 01.00 or 12.00 Sunday to Thursday
