Position: Investment Controller - Edinburgh, City Centre

The Investment Controller will be responsible for a number of activities including the monitoring of cash and overdraft positions. The purpose of this role is to support senior members of the team in relation to the above mentioned activities by carrying out this monitoring on a daily basis. The role will also involve interaction with Front Office personnel as well as company suppliers.

Responsibilities of the Investment Controller:

- Daily monitoring of cash and overdraft positions in line with client mandates and Front Office requirements
- Resolution of interest claims, errors and cost analysis where required
- Production of reports to be sent to the relevant desk assistants
- Liaising with the Front Office on any exceptions
- Involved in production of management information for monthly Front Office meetings
- Liaising with Compliance on any exceptions that result in breach of mandates
- Production of team reports to be reviewed and signed off by senior member of team

Background of the Investment Controller:

- Knowledge of interest claims would be desirable but not essential
- Experience within investments
- Good IT skills
- Excellent communication skills

This is an ongoing temp role for an Investment Controller lasting approximately 6 months with the possibility of extension. This is a Monday - Friday role.
