Trading Operations Specialist - City of London - £20-£23 per hour

This excellent opportunity for a Trading Operations Specialist has arisen within a highly respected Top Tier Asset Manager.

This Asset Manager currently has 4,500 employees within 18 countries worldwide - they are currently No 2 Fixed Income Manager in the industry & the culture is ultimately what binds employees to the firm & each other, this is the foundation upon which they will succeed. This division actively investigates failing trade and pre-matching issues with Brokers, Custodians and internal departments in accordance with market practice and internal procedures to reduce market claims and protect against financial risk.

The responsibilities for this role include:

- First point of escalation for Client, Custodian and Broker queries.
- Develop day to day relationships with Custodians, Broker, dealers/ Portfolio Managers and
other internal groups.
- Production and distribution of departmental MIS.
- Ad hoc settlement queries and project work.

You will ideally have:

- Strong technical background in International Equity and Fixed Income Trade Support/
settlements gained in an Investment Management or Custodian environment

- Some knowledge of confirmation process/ Omgeo suite of systems

- Good networking (relationship management, influencing) skills

- Excellent communication skills

- Ability to work to tight deadlines, in a busy and varied environment.
