• Product Controller - Credit Derivatives

• City of London £45,000 - £55,000 p/a Permanent

Our client offers a broad range of investment banking and securities products and services to meet the needs of institutional clients, companies and government bodies. With a reputation for excellence in advice and execution on a global scale; they are now seeking a Product Controller -Credit Derivatives to form part of the Shared Services Infrastructure within the Product Control Division. The team is co-located between London and Singapore and currently consists of around 80 headcount with just under half based in London.

The key responsibilities for the Product Controller - Credit Derivatives include:
-Responsible for the completion of the daily P&L including analysing, explaining and validating
trading P&L as well as applying market and product knowledge
-Preparation of Structured Trade Reviews for complex trades including the review of valuation
methodologies and dealing with ad hoc requests from other departments
-Understanding and documenting of new products and structures through discussions with traders
and structures
-Ensuring new trades are accounted for in compliance with accounting standards including liaising
with the accounting policy group as required
-Assisting with SOX testing, managing staff and reporting and with new business projects as
required.

The ideal candidate for the Product Controller - Credit Derivatives position should have a university background or equivalent work experience as well as a strong analytical ability, communication, leadership and organisational skills; accuracy and attention to detail.
