Internal Audit Managers required for a premier financial services organisation based in Edinburgh who are expanding their Internal Audit team. The Audit team provide assurance on risk management and control processes in relation to customer, financial or reputational risks.

As an Internal Audit Manager your primary responsibility is to deliver individual audits as Team Leader. You will provide an independent audit service, which applies professional audit practices and principles in order to form an opinion on the adequacy, effectiveness and sustainability of risk management and control processes. You will determine the scope of the audits, how to carry it out, and the testing and the strategy, in conjunction with the Senior Audit Manager.

The Internal Audit Manager will manage a team of auditors (generally 2-10) on a project basis but generally do not have line management responsibility. However you will be responsible for the quality of individuals work on the audit and provide staff with performance feedback.

To be considered for this outstanding opportunity we are looking for a Qualified Accountant with previous auditing/consultancy experience, who is looking to make a difference to risk management and control by working in partnership with Audit's stakeholders, providing advice and expertise. It is essential that you have experience within auditing, accounting or consultancy within the financial services sector. Experience within a global financial services or world class organisation preferred
