A Senior Repacking Middle Office Analyst is required for a leading international investment bank.


The asset repackaging desk is based in London and trades with investors through the use of special purpose vehicles. The role is within the middle office area of transaction management, and is a dynamic one requiring both attention to detail and the ability to understand the unique issues that arise when dealing with SPVs.


The role involves the trade capture of the new deals and also dealing with the ongoing deal maintenance of many portfolios. Some of these structures are complex and the issues that arise would suit a candidate used to problem solving and who is able to prioritise a variety of tasks. As this is a middle office area, teamwork and good communication skills are essential.


Main responsibilities focus on trade capture, pricing the packages, dealing with queries arising from counterparties, and various internal reconciliations and controls to ensure that bookings are accurate and complete.


Swaps, Summit & Bloomberg experience along with bond knowledge is preferable. The ideal applicant will have knowledge of custody / EuroClear / ClearStream and DTC procedures, and good settlements knowledge.
