This excellent opportunity for an Accountant has arisen within a highly respected top tier financial services organisation. The purpose of the role is to manage the accounting ledgers for certain Business Departments and Subsidiary companies to ensure that they properly reflect the transactions of the business.

The main functions of the accountant include:
-To produce accurate accounts on a monthly, semi-annually, and annual basis
-Ensure all payments are properly authorised according to company procedures and are
processed by their due date.
-Liaise with the Business Departments and Credit Risk Department to ensure all debts due to
the company are collected.
-Reconcile warehouse inventory reports to accounting ledgers
-Assist in the production of the consolidation packages and to ensure the completed package is
returned to Head Office (Tokyo) by the due date.
-To assist in the production of forecasts, flash reports, budgets etc. and to ensure they are
completed on a timely basis.

The ideal candidate should be beginning or studying for a professional accounting qualification along with some good accounting experience of accounts payable/receivable.
