A Trade Operations Specialist is required for an eminent international asset management house.


The global operations team is based in London and is responsible for the orderly execution and settlement of daily trading volume for the firm's assets under management. Global operations professionals serve as liaisons between custodian banks, the dealer community, and portfolio managers.


Responsibilities include:

- Management of interfaces between order management systems.

- Confirmation of trades with external counterparties.

- Settlement messaging to custodians, fund accountants and clients.

- Fails management and settlement oversight.

- Corporate actions

- Stock lending

- Derivatives servicing.


The ideal candidate will have good knowledge of international equity and fixed income settlements market practice, good organisational/time management skills, and some knowledge of confirmation processes. This will all have been gained through solid relevant experience.
