A Credit Derivatives Middle Office Manager is required for one of the world's largest and leading international investment banks. The role is based in the London Docklands.


Located on the trading floor, the credit derivatives middle office provides dedicated support to a number of front office trading areas - flow and structured credit (including asset swaps, structured securities and prop) and CDO trading, along with providing a control layer looking at lifecycle events across all of the desks.


The successful candidate will manage a mid-sized team of professionals and will report into the European Head of Credit. Working directly with trading, structuring, sales and operations the successful candidate must be comfortable in a high-pressure environment, self sufficient and adaptable to change.


Main responsibilities of the role will focus on the day-to-day people management of the structured credit & CDO middle offices and middle office control teams.


We expect the candidate to have significant academic attainment; mathematical qualifications would be advantageous. Extensive experience in OTC products, a working knowledge of global markets, management experience, and change / project experience are all essential.
