• Financial Controller - London

• West End £70,000 - £90,000 p/a Permanent

Our client is a fully integrated New York based Private Equity Real Estate Fund Manager with additional offices in Europe and Asia. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Financial Controller with a strong background in Real Estate to join the London team (UK portfolio is a mix of residential and commercial properties worth over £2 billion). All the accounting is outsourced so this role will be more of a liaison with external advisors and the US whilst dealing with high level finance issues.

The main responsibilities for the Financial Controller include:
-Corporate Finance - provide support on deal structuring, due diligence and acquisitions
-External Financial Reporting - take the lead in overseeing and managing the preparation of
interim and annual statutory financial reports
-Monthly Reporting - manage the monthly group consolidation, balance sheet management and
cash flow
-Technical Accounting & Reporting - provide leadership in monitoring and communicating with
external Auditors
-Key Accounting Issues - monitor and act on developments (internal and external) on business
issues affecting group P&L and Balance Sheet
-Financial Control - oversee financial controls within finance operations area
-Taxation - liaise closely with Head of Taxation (in NYC), to oversee tax accounting and
forecasting

The suitable candidate should be a qualified accountant along with sound people management and interpersonal skills. They will also have gained extensive experience in UK Real Estate.
