Working as the No.2 within the Compliance Division of a successful Lloyds Broker, you will be assisting in all aspects of the compliance function and be able to cover to a reasonable degree for the Compliance Officer. Responsibilities are varied and include, although not limited to monitoring, evaluating and disseminating and mitigating against external rules, in particular those made by the FSA, monitoring best practice in business conduct and E&O prevention, assist in the Company's business conduct review programme, maintenance of the Compay's rules and Procedures Manual and reporting on significant compliance matters to the Board.
Successful applicants should have good knowledge of FSA, money laundering and data protection regulations and guidelines, a good knowledge of London market General Insurance and underlying legal principles, good knowledge of market practice and principles, in particular with regard to the Market Reform Initiative.
