Our Client a Nationwide Broker are currently looking to recruit a Senior Client Technician for their office in Glasgow. Salary flexible plus benefits.

Key responsibilities for the role of Senior Client Technician:

Prepare and maintain the information required to allow Client records to be accurate and up to date and sufficient to allow the information to be used for FSA compliance checks and the placing of Client covers.

Comply with FSA regulatory and other standards as directed by line management including the creation and updating of accurate: Client information, Insurance Review Forms, premium invoicing and accounting information.

Record FSA Regulated complaints in a timely manner.

Provide technical advice to each allocated Client.

Identify improvements in Client risk and insurance programme design and make recommendations to the Client or Client Manager.

Identify revenue development opportunities on allocated Client accounts and make recommendations to Client Managers.

Ensure Clients are informed that appropriate cover is in place.

Establish and develop effective working relationships with Insurers and where appropriate, differentiating with the Client; the cover, service and industry knowledge that a specific Insurer could deliver to them.

Key skills required for role of Senior Client Technician:

Knowledge of IT packages including Lotus Notes, Word, Excel and Knowledge Exchange.
Knowledge of the Insurance industry including FSA regulations and technical knowledge of Insurance products.
