A Quality Assurance Officer is sought by one of the world's largest and pre-eminent international investment banks. A global industry leader, the bank provides innovative custody, fund accounting and administration and securities services to the world's largest institutional investors, alternative asset managers and debt and equity issuers.
Based in London, this exciting and challenging opportunity will enable the successful candidate to become part of a team responsible for building and maintaining control programmes for the operational teams in the United Kingdom.

The range of services within the team includes full outsource arrangements, lifts outs and modular structures. The controls team, working closely with risk and compliance teams, has responsibility to ensure risk and controls are managed across all areas of the business, and regulatory requirements along with client and internal audit requirements are supported.

As a successful quality assurance officer, you will work with operation management and teams to assess and analyse efficacy of risk mitigation. You will assist in the management of risk identification particularly with regard to operational error. You will also perform reviews within time budgets and target dates, reporting any timing problems or budget over-runs to the director.

The ideal candidate will possess understanding of risk management and audit methodologies, gained through good relevant experience. Self management and organisation skills are vital. We seek candidates with an operational risk, compliance, or audit background and a broad understanding of asset management.
