• Incident & Reporting Analyst - London

• City of London £30,000 - £40,000 p/a Permanent

A Reporting Analyst is required by a leading independent European Financial services business. Our client is Europe's premier central counterparty, serving major international exchanges and platforms, equity markets, exchange-traded derivatives markets, energy markets, the inter-bank interest rate swaps market and the majority of the Euro-denominated and sterling bond and repo markets.

The key responsibilities for the Reporting Analyst include:
-Incident Management (BMC Remedy)
-Daily Issue Reporting - open, closed, pending and created
-Monthly Reporting - Ltd Board, Audit and Operations Committees
-Static data updates - vendors, membership
-Implementation of a Priority 2 incident process, as used by IT Production for system related
incidents
-Reviewing all incidents to ensure a consistent and high standard of data integrity.
-Ensuring that incidents with implications on operational risk are entered/ updated/ closed in the
ERA operational risk system
-Takeover the production of the daily Executive Report received by senior management and
ensure the accuracy and integrity of the data reported
-Act as backup to the Analysis and Control Manager for the production of daily, weekly, monthly
and ad-hoc reports

The successful candidate should have a background in finance, either through a qualification or be currently working an accountancy & finance position at the moment. You should also have advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, macros, database analysis) and a keenness to work closer to the business.
