• City of London £30,000 - £40,000 p/a Permanent

A technical accountant is required for a global investment management firm ; an industry leader with impressive assets under custody. Our client provides innovative custody, fund accounting and administration and securities services to the world's largest institutional investors, alternative asset managers and debt and equity issuers.


Based in London, the purpose of the role is to provide support to the accounting areas in their strategic development, implementing automated solutions, developing the current reporting tools and looking at the use of existing solutions for clients and projects.


Key responsibilities focus upon the definition/clarification of business requirements. Working with relevant personnel in the accounting areas, you will gain a detailed understanding of existing processes. From this you will be formulating, testing and subsequently implementing recommendations/solutions, ensuring delivery is in line with overall project plan.


Good knowledge of fund accounting & investment products is essential. You should demonstrate the ability to work to tight deadlines & deal with client queries. We seek self-motivated candidates who are part-qualified accountants (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) and have experience in the investment industry.
