International Licenses Manager - London - City - Up to £60,000

My client is looking to recruit a Lloyd's market International Licences / Regulatory Affairs Manager. You will help manage, protect, develop and enhance all markets in line with the organisations commercial strategies.

You will be responsible for

- Developing and reviewing the company's licence and reporting strategy, to ensure the competitiveness of licences, overseas funding requirements, and regulatory reporting and international compliance burdens.
- Undertaking/overseeing the regular review of the short, medium and long term licence and funding positions, regulatory reporting and international compliance burden.
- Researching and completing regular reporting.
- Working with International Regulatory Affairs and International Markets and Business Development as appropriate in seeking to change licence, funding, reporting or compliance positions.
- Reviewing, analysing accuracy and efficiency, and approving overseas regulatory reporting, related audits, annual authorisations, trust deed frameworks and ad-hoc international reporting procedures.
- Overseeing audit/actuarial/technical reserve obligations.
- Developing and maintaining, in liaison with IRA, the relationship with overseas regulators, market and franchisor in the context of reporting, strategy, systems, processes and controls, and projects.
- Developing and maintaining an appropriate control framework, including the International Regulatory Reporting Framework (IRR), for all international regulatory reporting and other international compliance process requirements.
- Managing the controls for returns prepared within International Market Access and overseeing the effectiveness of control frameworks for those returns prepared in the Market Reporting Department and overseas offices.
- Undertaking/overseeing reviews of the control frameworks around regulatory reporting and other international compliance processes, within the Franchisor and overseas offices, making recommendations for change as appropriate.

In exchange you will be degree educated or equivalent, have around 5 years International License/Regulatory Affairs experience with in a Lloyds market operation. Have excellent Managerial, Communication, Relationship Management, Project Management and Risk Management experience.
