• Senior Financial Accountant

Our client is a respected independent fund management firm, whose sole focus is asset management. They offer a wide range of investment products and services, tailored to meet the varying needs of both retail and institutional clients.

The key responsibilities for this role will include:
-Review general ledger to ensure all necessary accounting entries have been processed prior to
the commencement of the production of financial statements
-Produce PBC items and liaise with auditors
-Calculate the tax charge for each group company and post appropriate accounting entries on a
monthly basis
-Production of VAT return using spreadsheet analysis
-Quarterly and annual FSA reporting for regulated firms
-Prepare balance sheets for the group and main individual companies for inclusion in the
monthly management report
-Liaise with other sections within finance ensuring transactions are reflected in their correct entity

The ideal candidate should be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CPA) with experience in a
similar role, ideally within Investment Management. You should also have UK GAAP and previous supervisory or managerial experience.
