• Credit Support Officer

• City of London £45,000 - £65,000 p/a Permanent

An exceptional Credit Support Officer is required by a top International Asset Management Bank. The aim of this role is to support the activities of the Credit Management Unit.


The principal elements of the role are to assist with:
*Maintenance and maximisation of ratings coverage.
*Assist with credit related projects which impact on UK (currently including Basel 2, CROSS and SIRIUS).
*Administration of Local Credit Committee (LCC) process.
*To support administration of the local Credit Risk Management system.
*Collection of data on certain credit files to meet B2 storage requirements.
*Extraction of ratings data from Credit approvals and forwarding to Finance for Midas input.
*Taking necessary initiatives including data checks to help ensure maximum Basel 2 compliant ratings coverage is achieved and maintained by liaising with the Business lines and providing them with regular status reports.
*Preparation and completion of monthly / quarterly credit reporting.
*Arranging LCC meetings, compiling agendas and circulating minutes.
*Collection and recording of data on impaired files to ensure Basel II data storage requirements are met.
