• Technical Specialist/Supervisor - Equity Derivatives

A technical specialist/supervisor is required for the equity derivatives team of a leading clearing house. The role is based in London.


The overall purpose of job is to provide an efficient clearing processing and delivery management service to the firm's members and the cleared markets, ensuring that matching and settlement is performed in a timely manner and in accordance with the firm's regulations regarding to risk exposure.


Through the relevant settlement system, you will ensure that matching and settlement is performed in a timely manner and in accordance with regulations. You will monitor credit facilities and risk exposure ensuring that other relevant departments and management is informed of breaches and taking action where necessary. You will also monitor futures/options contracts, process trade and position adjustments.


Good knowledge of exchange settlement and delivery procedures, especially Euronext and Liffe, is required. You will have solid equity derivatives settlement and deliveries experience, as well as demonstrated supervisory experience.
