Internal Communications Manager European Investment Bank circa £90,000

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced communications manager with experience of working within a capital markets environment has arisen at a leading European Investment Bank. As a key member of the strategy and performance team for this global middle office function you will play a key role in the strategic development of the middle office function globally. This division is responsible for all the trades executed in global markets, from trade capture and trade and sales support to lifecycle management.The team currently covers all areas of organisational and business strategy, the strategic planning process, performance metrics and management.



You will have specific responsibility for managing internal communications for this business unit. As such you will interface with senior MD level individuals across the bank across front office, finance, IT and operations. The opportunity offers broad experience across multiple business lines, functions and products, extensive exposure to senior management in all businesses across the regions and opportunities to influence culture, drive change and focus strategic direction through effective communications.



You will manage the overall development of the transaction management intranet as a showcase of effective communication and innovation, in line with the bank's guidelines. You will manage an integrated and proactive approach to the strategic positioning of this division as a world class middle office function and a leveraged profile through marketing activities (e.g. Industry awards, conference speaking) and media relations activities.



Extensive experience in a senior communications role within investment banking, with internal communications emphasis, is essential for this role.
