This top tier London bank is looking for an experienced Management Accountant to take their career to the next level. Our Client is one of four state-owned commercial banks. Its businesses cover commercial banking, investment banking and insurance. The Bank provides a comprehensive range of high-quality financial services to individual and corporate customers as well as financial institutions worldwide

The purpose of the job is to assist the Financial Controller with the efficient financial control of the Bank including cost, financial and management accounting, tax, treasury and reconciliations.

The key responsibilities for the Management Accountant include:
-Assisting with all aspects of financial control for BOC UK and BOC Branches
-Preparation and management of the of annual budget process
-Assist with the preparation of BOC UK financial statements
-Backup contact for Auditors on all parts of the audit from planning stage to final sign off for UK
branches
-Assisting with Taxation matters, including corporation tax, withholding tax and VAT
-Responsible for all FSA and Bank of England reporting
-Responsible for the development of the MIS reporting for BOC UK and BOC Branch
-Take responsibility for the development of a Treasury management reporting function

Our client is seeking a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ATT, CIMA) with all round banking experience and knowledge of Corporate Tax and Treasury Products.
