An analyst is required for fixed income product management within a prominent, and highly respected, global asset manager. The role is based in London.

The product management team is focused on the strategic development, growth and positioning of the bank's fixed income product offerings. The product management function is integrated with the portfolio management team and is focused on enabling distribution channels on winning and retaining fixed income clients through regular communications, strategy updates, and marketing initiatives.

The product management analyst role requires the ability to multi-task, developing and understanding of the fixed income market, as well as working with senior investment professionals.

Principle responsibilities will be to gain an understanding of fixed income investment products including: governments, corporates, mortgages, Emerging Market debt, high yield, currency, commodities, hedge funds, bank loans, CDOs etc. The successful candidate will provide assistance to senior members of the portfolio management team in developing presentations, performing market and portfolio analysis and updates.

We require the candidate to be highly skilled analytically, which will be proven through solid experience and academics (to graduate level, ideally) with excellent communication skills, and demonstrable enthusiasm for fixed income.
