This excellent opportunity for a Business Reporting Analyst has arisen within a highly respected Top Tier brokerage firm. Formed in the 1980's our client provides competitive inter-dealer brokerage services in a multitude of global cash and derivatives markets, including credit derivatives and fixed income, foreign exchange and financial derivatives, equity, energy and commodities.

The Finance Department aims to provide high quality core and value-added services on a timely basis to our shareholders, customers and employees and to support the growth strategies of the Firm. The Business Reporting Analyst reports to the Head of Business Reporting who reports to the Finance Director - Europe.

The key responsibilities for the Business Reporting Analyst include:
-To provide detailed analysis and commentary on both the P&L & Balance sheet so as to assist the
Firm in performance measurement and decision making.
-Routine analysis and commentary of the monthly P&L (both Front & Back Office) and Balance -
Sheet in support of the Firm's close process.
-Design and build of new reports to enhance the analysis process.
-Assist in the specification process for system enhancements.
-Income and cost analysis projects.
-Preparation of reports and presentations.

The successful candidate should be a qualified accountant with 2 years PQE. CIMA Qualified with training in a commercial environment will be preferred. You should also have knowledge of Financial Institutions and ideally a background in P&L & balance sheet production & analysis.
