• Account Manager (Relationship Manager) - London

An account manager is required for a relationship management role within a respected and bespoke private wealth manager.

The main objective of this role is to manage and develop a portfolio of customers.

Your principal duties and responsibilities will focus upon leading the bank's relationship with the customer. You will develop that relationship in areas of investment management, professional services and treasury where relevant. You will assess and make recommendations for suitability of prospective customers, as well as prepare lending propositions.

Candidates must have a proven track record as a relationship manager and ideally be educated to graduate standard in financial services, or equivalent. Attainment of, or the desire to undertake, other relevant professional qualifications are essential. Candidates must also have a desire to develop professionally through the learning and development programme.

Candidates must have a sound knowledge of financial matters, UK/global economy and financial products. Proven ability to generate new business and evidence of strong networking ability are essential. It is necessary that candidates know how to identify cross selling/fertilisation opportunities.
