This renowned international firm is looking for an enthusiastic part qualified accountant to join them and be the principle point of contact within a Business Group/Unit for preparation of Book and consolidation of cash reporting, monthly management reporting, group budgets and forecasts. Our client is one of today's leading infrastructure, building and business services companies with operations across Britain and in Europe, Canada, the Middle East, North Africa and Caribbean.

The key responsibilities for the Accountant include:
-Preparation of consolidated cash reporting
-Preparation of consolidated monthly management accounts
-Preparation of consolidated budgets and forecasts
-Preparation of main board papers
-Consolidation and restatement of opening balances for management accounts
-Preparation and consolidation of accounts packs at monthly and year end periods
-Liaison across the Group with Business Accountants, Finance Analysts and Treasury as required
-Ad hoc tasks as required by the Finance Manager
-Typically manages cost centre budget
-Identifies ways to reduce cost and improve service
-Manages variable costs (e.g. overtime and agency costs)

Our client is seeking a part qualified accountant from a recognised accountancy body with experience of working in a similar facilities or property services team. You will need to effectively manage administration support staff and undertake staff appraisals.
