• Emerging Markets Product Controller

• City of London £45,000 - £55,000 p/a Permanent

Our client offers a broad range of investment banking and securities products and services to meet the needs of institutional clients, companies and government bodies. With a reputation for excellence in advice and execution on a global scale they are now seeking an Emerging Markets Product Controller.

The key responsibilities for the Emerging Markets Product Controller include:
-Compare Prices of all Assets and liabilities to independent external sources such as the
Istanbul Stock Exchange, Bloomberg and Reuters to confirm that the P&L generated from these
underlying assets is not mis-stated.
-Calculate and Verify the P&L generated for all books under your control, adjusting for reconciled
items.
-Perform and document reconciliations, ensuring a clear audit trail is apparent and that the
sources of information are clearly understood
-Statistical analysis of results will be provided by you on a monthly basis, and a detailed
understanding of the trading strategy and the desk structure will be of paramount importance
-Produce clean P&L for all trading books on a daily basis
-Provide daily, monthly and quarterly analytical review of material movements, and provide
insightful commentary to management.

Our client is seeking a qualified accountant (ACA, CFA, CIMA, ACCA) who has experience of working in the product control department on an Investment Bank. You should also have
an understanding of the Structures of Entities and an understanding of Front to Back Systems Flow
