My client, a leading United Kingdom financial institution with offices throughout the globe requires a high calibre professional to head its Regulatory Policy team in London. Key responsibilities and duties of the role will include;

*Provide leadership on regulatory policy for a variety of products and services across multiple business lines, legal entities and geographic regions.
*Advise the business in identifying new areas requiring new or updated policies.
*Manage a team of senior managers, achieving the maximisation of individual potential.
*Provide senior level input on regulatory projects across the business as required.
*Develop and maintain effective relationships with regional and divisional regulatory teams.
*Act in an advisory role as required and assist with the implementation of policy.
*Oversee the delivery of risk projects and initiatives contained within the annual operating plan.

Exceptional experience, including a leadership role, of regulatory risk policy delivery within a complex financial services group, is required. You will have a clear understanding of the external legislative and regulatory environment associated with the group's products, services and markets, as well as expert knowledge of relevant domestic and global regulatory structures e.g. UK, USA, Asia.
