• West End £36,000 - £46,000 p/a Permanent

This excellent opportunity for a Management Accountant has arisen within a highly respected Top Tier Bank. Our client is one of the largest international banking networks with strong positions in Asia and a significant presence in the United States. This is a key role based in the Management Accounting - Costs team of the London Finance department.

The responsibilities for the Management Accountant include:
-Provide a comprehensive management accounting service for Corporate Governance, IT,
Facilities and Operations to the Territory COO (£110m direct costs and 460 heads), department
heads and cost centre managers.
-Direct management accounting responsibility for four departments (Corporate Governance,
Territory Administration, Local Operations and Capital Markets Operations) and consolidated
responsibility for IT and Facilities.
-Providing management information to the local COO of some business lines to enable them to
manage their business more effectively and answer ad-hoc queries as and when they arise.
-Prepare annual budget and forecasts for the 4 departments mentioned above (direct costs,
headcount, allocation keys etc)
-Act as the primary point of contact for all Local LSI management accounting queries.

The suitable candidate should be a newly qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA/CPA or equivalent) with prior experience of management accounting and preparation of management commentaries desirable although audit route to qualification will also be considered.
