A fixed income professional is required for the financial sector of one of the world's largest and most eminent asset management houses. The role is based in London.


The role will be supporting the work of a team of analysts within fixed income, covering the financials sector. The primary responsibility of the role is to provide information to the team and ensure that all data used in the investment making decision process is both accurate and comprehensive.


Key responsibilities will be to develop monitoring tools to ensure we are able to effectively monitor the firm's holdings in complex financial instruments. You will assist financials and analysts with financial modelling on individual companies and bonds, as well as monitor corporate actions and ensure effective split between public and private information where necessary.


We are seeking candidates with a genuine interest in macroeconomics and fixed income markets, with the ability and interest to learn about bond pricing and financial analysis. An understanding of accounting principles and concepts is required, as is some knowledge of economics, either through formal study or personal interest. Experience of fixed income markets and products would be desirable but not essential.
